ASU-Beebe offers several privately funded agriculture scholarships designed to support students pursuing studies and careers in the agriculture field. These scholarships are funded through private donors and require a separate application process from the standard ASU-Beebe Foundation scholarship application.
Scholarships in this category include:
-
Denver & Ruby Nettles Scholarship
-
Larry Sims Agriculture Scholarship
-
R.V. Powell Scholarship
-
Chuck Wisdom, Jr. Agricultural Heritage Scholarship
While privately funded, applications are reviewed by a committee within the ASU-Beebe Agriculture Department. The committee evaluates applicants based on criteria related to academic performance, involvement and interest in agriculture.
When completing the application, students are encouraged to include any and all agricultural-related experiences or associations that may strengthen their application, such as FFA participation, agricultural coursework, work experience, leadership roles or community involvement.
Applicants will also have the opportunity to upload letters of recommendation or additional supporting materials they feel are important for the committee’s review.
The deadline to apply is March 31 each year.
