SEARCY, Ark. – ASU-Beebe is proud to recognize Entergy Corporation for a microgrant donation to expand classroom technology and interactive instruction at the ASU-Beebe Searcy Campus.

ASU-Beebe has reinvented the way it provides instruction. This reinvention resulted in the creation of delivery course formats called Internet-Assisted/Zoom, and Zoom (fully online). The Entergy donation of $750 helped ASU-Beebe purchase the large flat-screen television for the classroom at the Searcy campus. The new screen enables these programs to deliver class content and display presentations to students in person and online simultaneously.

"ASU-Beebe prides itself on providing faculty and students access to state-of-the-art classroom technology to deliver course content. The 70" Monitor purchased with support from the Entergy Corporation will enhance our ability to deliver instruction to our allied health and workforce training programs on the Searcy campus," said Dr. Jason Goodner, vice-chancellor for Academics at ASU-Beebe.

“Entergy believes in investing in technology for the benefit of our combined future. This contribution to ASU-Beebe to advance technology in the delivery of education and workforce training demonstrates our community commitment,” said Flave Carpenter, customer service manager for Entergy Corp.

“ASU-Beebe is extremely thankful to Entergy Corporation for their generosity and ongoing community partnership which continues to make high-quality education possible for students at ASU-Beebe Searcy Campus,” said Andrea Cole, development officer/major gifts with ASU-Beebe.

With this support from Entergy Corporation, ASU-Beebe has completed a significant investment to equip 15 classrooms with Zoom technology to support and expand class delivery options for students.
