Arkansas State University-Beebe
GYM RESTORATION
Fundraising Campaign
GOAL $250,000
Help us raise funds to update the gymnasium located in the Owen Center on the ASU-Beebe Campus, including completely replacing the outdated gym floor with a new maple wood sports surface, new pads, scoreboard and benches.
Help ASU-BEEBE create a lasting legacy by naming the "Jeannie Myers Lindsey Basketball Court”!
The campaign will focus on 100 donations of $1,000 each to reach the $100,000 goal needed to name the court.
This gift can be made as a one-time gift, payroll deduct for ASUB employees and can be paid over a 2-year period.
Ms. Jeannie Myers Lindsey, a retired faculty member, who served ASU-Beebe for 37 years is credited with creating and expanding the curriculum for both men’s and women’s physical education programs as well as re-establishing the AAU Women’s basketball team at ASU-Beebe. The team reigned as state champions for two years before she helped create the two-year women’s athletic conference in Arkansas.
* Donations can be made over a 2 year period
